Hotel Cleaner/Housekeeper

Small boutique hotel with 8 rooms capacity is looking for a hardworking and trustworthy employee to ensure the rooms are tidy and clean during the season. While in Winter, when the hotel is closed the employee will be working as a housekeeper in the hotel owner’s family taking care of cleaning, cooking, ironing and looking after their 2 children if needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, and other hotel areas according to established standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure that all rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies such as toiletries, linens, and towels.
  • Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages within guest rooms and public areas.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.
  • Ensure that all areas of the hotel maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Assist in laundry duties when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hotel cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.
  • Experience as a housekeeper/nanny is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and their safe handling.
  • A positive attitude and team player mentality.
